Anya Taylor-Joy Joins Edgar Wright’s New Thriller Last Night in Soho
The latest film by Edgar Wright has just aligned his lead actress. Anya Taylor-Joy should be featured in Wright's thriller / thriller Last Night in Soho . It is only recently that we learned that the director of Baby Driver had put this project on the mute and it seems that it will be a departure from the usual comic exploits of the filmmaker. Although little has been revealed about the movie so far, aligning a big star to the poster for distribution is a great starting point.
According to a new report, Anya Taylor-Joy would be about to play one of the leading roles in Last Night in Soho . There is currently no indication as to who will be with him. Taylor-Joy has been on the rise for a few years and claims to be a queen of modern day cry. Her main role in the film was in Robert Eggers' director The Witch which led her to play a role in Split by Mr. Night Shyamalan . More recently, the actress was featured in the sequel to this movie, Glass which ripped him to the box office. Taylor-Joy is also expected to play in The New Mutants a spin-off company on the theme of Horror X-Men which, sadly, has experienced many delays.

He has been described as a psychological thriller / horror, Edgar Wright having previously used Do not Look Now and Repulsion by Roman Polanski as a touchstone. All that has really been revealed is that the film will take place in central London. Wright wrote the screenplay alongside Krysty Wilson-Cairns, known for his work on Penny Dreadful .
Edgar Wright comes to know the success of Baby Driver . , which grossed $ 226 million worldwide and was hailed by the critical community on its way to two Oscar nominations. Wright had already been known for his films on the Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead Hot Fuzz and The World's End whose stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. But Baby Driver helped put him in another category in the eyes of Hollywood and there were even rumors that he was perhaps ready to direct the film James Bond 25 before producers settle in Cary Fukunaga.
But Edgar Wright's upcoming film remained an interrogation point until just recently. He is still working on a sequel to Baby Driver who has a draft script, and is also finishing a documentary about the Sparks band. Last night in Soho should be shooting this summer, which means we should learn a lot more about casting in the near future.
