Battle at Big Rock Short Film, Taking Place a Year After Fallen Kingdom
As Promised, Director Jurassic World Colin Trevorrow, launched Battle at Big Rock, a brand new short He directed and wrote with Emily Carmichael. The 8-minute short film takes place one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in the Big Rock National Park, home to dinosaurs today. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals turns into a terrifying struggle for their survival. Fans have a ton of reasons to be excited about the new short film as it gives us all a glimpse of the direction that Colin Trevorrow might have in Jurassic World 3 . While the rumors revolve around the final film of the 1945 Jurassic World trilogy we really know only one thing: the film will not be here before long. This short film is a good surprise and we can only hope to have more before the release of the next film.

Colin Trevorrow directed André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd and Pierson Salvador in Battle at Big Rock with a cinematography of Larry Fong and a score of Amie Doherty. After firing Star Wars 9 Colin Trevorrow was invited back to the franchise to direct Jurassic World 3 . Trevorrow will co-write the screenplay with Emily Carmichael and produce the film with Steven Spielberg.
