Birds of Prey TV Trailer Has Harley Quinn’s Gang on a Rampage

Warner Bros. revealed a new teaser for Birds of Prey . Or, for those who prefer the full title, Birds of Prey (And the fantastic emancipation of One Harley Quinn). In any case, the studio has decided to present images of the upcoming DC Comics adaptation to the Game Awards recently, giving us the chance to see Margot Robbie back in action as Harley Quinn.

Before the teaser was released, Margot Robbie appeared as Harley Quinn in a pre-recorded song to warm the crowd, which was a bit squeaky, as such things often are. But that gives us a solid look at one of Harley's new looks in the film, which consists of a short pink top, shorts, and golden overalls. It is far from the version of the character in which we were presented in Suicide Squad it is certain.

As for the teaser itself, it begins with Harley explaining how to be taken seriously, which then provides a nice excuse to present several big chunks of action from the film. We see Harley walking away from an explosion, guys being beaten up in the alleys and Huntress getting angry. The video ends with a photo of all the main ladies at the center of the story walking together, ready for business. In terms of tone and look, it has a very different feel to anything we've seen in the DCEU so far. The whole thing is set to an air of M. Sandman from Les Chordettes, which certainly adds something to the mix.

The cast includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead ( 10 Cloverfield Lane Fargo ) as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell ( True Blood ) as Black Canary, Rosie Perez ( Fearless Pitch Perfect 2 ) as Renee Montoya, Chris Messine ( Argo Sharp Objects ) as Victor Zsasz and Ewan McGregor ( Doctor Sleep Trainspotting ) as Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also plays the role of Cassandra Cain, marking her first feature film. It should be noted that in the world of DC Comics, Cassandra Cain is one of the characters who continues to become Batgirl, but the word is that she is not intended to appear in this film .
