Galaxy’s Edge Opening Dates Announced for Disneyland & Disney World

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge arrives a little earlier than expected. However, there will be one catch, or two, for each park at the opening. Star Wars fans were eagerly awaiting updates for new additions to Disneyland and Disney World theme parks. Fortunately, there have been many in recent weeks. Now we are starting to have some finer details, thanks to the annual meeting of Walt Disney shareholders.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open on May 31 at Disneyland Park in California, while August 29th will be the big day for Disney World Florida. It's a little earlier than expected, which is always a good thing. But both parks will open in two phases. The first phase will only include Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and the rest of the immersive Rise of the Resistance experiments, which will open at a later, undisclosed time. Why did Disney decide to make this decision, but it will certainly add even more repeat visitors. The parks do not allow FastPass service, which includes the California MaxPass and the Florida FastPass +. The date on which these services will be available to park visitors has not been announced, but it will certainly take a long time. It was estimated that the expectation of the Millennium Falcon: the smugglers race could last up to six hours during the first days of opening the new extension of the park. But it remains to be seen whether Disneyland and Disney World will propose a different system for the park area Star Wars .

TIE Fighter Revealed?

Finally, the height requirements for Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: the smugglers' race were announced. 38 "will be the requirement for Smugglers Run, while 40" will be the requirement of Resistance when it opens. These height requirements had already been the subject of rumors and proved to be true. Some fans of Star Wars may find the latest news frustrating, but Disney is probably working on something special for both parks during their respective openings. Fans of Wars hoping to have a complete experience of Galaxy's Edge, it seems that the wait could be a little longer at the moment. Disney has not yet announced the opening date of Rise of the Resistance. However, this news should be coming soon. This sounds good for annual paper pass holders, but it has been said that some of the lower pass passes would not initially have access to new additions. This has not been officially confirmed yet.
