Galaxy’s Edge Ties Directly Into Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars: The Edge of Galaxy is now officially open to the public after years of anticipation. Disneyland visitors who have been fortunate enough to acquire a coveted reserve can now wander through the new neighborhood of Anaheim amusement park and interact with the universe Star Wars like never before. But, these are just a few new rides with expensive goods. There is a story that takes place after the events of The Last Jedi and sets up The Rise of Skywalker.

At the end of The Last Jedi . resistance has been virtually eliminated. The Rise of Skywalker occurs after a time jump because the Resistance needed a little time to rebuild itself. That's where Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge comes in. The expansion of the new theme park takes place on the Batuu planet, where the Resistance sits in order to rebuild and win allies. While in Batuu, General Organa has a plan.

General Organa sends one of his best spies, Vi Moradi, to the distant outpost of Black Spire. Moradi was first introduced in the novelization of Phasma and will feature in the next Black Spire novel, which is part of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge . While park visitors are walking around, Moradi is seen running around and arresting guests about their allegiance, hoping that they will say that they are there to help the Resistance. This is a clever way to participate in the reconstruction of the Resistance from the myth of the Force and the diffusion of Luke Skywalker in the galaxy. However, things are not always what they seem on Batuu and the First Order is also present.

About: Who are the new Star Wars characters in The Rise of Skywalker?

Vi Moradi wants to help get allies for the Resistance and the First Order seeks information about what is happening. Stormtroopers can be seen wandering in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge which will incite Moradi to hide and hide if she approaches them. One can also see Kylo Ren walking around the park, questioning alliances and seeking more information to defeat the Resistance. Unfortunately, the rise in resistance is not yet ready in the new park area.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland spoils anything about The Skywalker Rise but it's an interesting way to immerse the fans in the latest trilogy. Everything works together, which largely explains the secret tactics used by Disneyland to keep everything secret. The Resistance will get the allies they need, but will they all be Batuu? Are there spies? We will have to wait to see when the film will be in the theater later this year. For the moment, Star Wars fans can look forward to long wait times and overcrowded visits to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge . For more information on park access, visit the Disneyland site.
