Halloween Kills Begins Shooting This Week in North Carolina
Michael Myers can not be remembered while Halloween Kills is scheduled for this week's shoot. This film will be the sequel to Halloween of last year, which successfully reorganized the iconic Slasher franchise presented to the world by the legendary John Carpenter in 1978. All of the basic creative team returns for one. This, in the beginning, since it will be a continuation of photos with Halloween Ends third and last chapter of this saga of horror.
According to a local media report, filming will begin on Thursday, Sept. 12 in Wilmington, North Carolina, in the Port City area. Little is known about the plot of the coming sequels and this report in particular does not offer many specific details, it is sufficient that "dialogues with journalists" be filmed, information that comes from the request of movie license. But once the cameras start shooting, we'll probably learn more, because Blumhouse Productions will surely make an official announcement, given the imminent success that predicts.
Director David Gordon Green is back in the world. Director of the film, based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Danny McBride, is very much like the first film in this new trilogy. The two Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends were written before the shooting. Green and McBride teamed up with Scott Teems to help share the workload. Jamie Lee Curtis will return again under the name of Laurie Strode, as well as the original Michael Myers actor, Nick Castle. However, he mostly served as a consultant last time, with James Jude Courtney putting on the mask and doing the dirty work.

Other familiar faces are also returning this time. Kyle Richards, who played Lindsey Wallace in the original Halloween, Laurie's kid was babysitting, comes back too. Anthony Michael Hall will play Tommy Doyle, the other child Laurie was watching at the time of the Myers murders. Jibrail Nantambu also returns from last year 's film and Robert Longstreet will play the bully Lonnie Elam. Thus, even if the previous film had ignored all other suites of the franchise, some personalities of the past will join the list this time. Judy Greer is expected to return as Karen Strode and Andi Matichak as her daughter Allyson.
John Carpenter is about to provide the score for these two new films, as he did for the original film. and the rest of last year. Halloween ended up becoming a huge success, generating $ 255 million in global box office, while garnering critical acclaim. Halloween Kills is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 16, 2020, with Halloween Ends to follow a year later on October 15, 2021.
