Iron Man’s Legend Lives on in New Spider-Man: Far from Home Poster

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios published a new poster for Spider-Man: Away from Home . This film has always been a difficult battle to mount, because it has the unenviable task of having to follow Avengers: Endgame . Not only that, but the marketing team must, or at least should, avoid promoting this thing without messing up this film in the process. However, as we see in this poster, they no longer care about spoilers, as they have paid an affectionate tribute to Iron Man.

Warning: Spoilers are coming for Avengers: Endgame . On the poster, Peter Parker of Peter Holland dresses on a building, with an Iron Man mural in the background. Given the fact that Tony Stark gave his life to save the universe at the end of of Avengers: Endgame this image takes on some emotional weight and makes sense. The poster was shared with the following quote from Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan, a line revealed in the most recent trailer.

"I do not think Tony would have done what he did if he did not, I know you were going to be here after he left."

is clear that Spider-Man: Far From Home not only deals with the consequences of Avengers: Endgame but it will also put a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of Peter Parker. Indeed, it seems that the young surfer is questioning about having to assume the role of Tony Stark. Is he ready for that? Did Tony really think when he made his huge sacrifice? As Nick Fury makes clear in the latest trailer, the Earth is a little shorthanded with respect to heroes, so it's up to Spidey to assume that extra weight.

There will be a lot of things. pass in this movie. Not only do we have to deal with all this, but we also have the movie Mysterio by Jake Gyllenhaal, who introduces or not the concept of multiverse in the Marvel film universe. Certainly, Mysterio is a villain (who positions himself here as an ally) who is known for his illusions and deceit. We do not buy this multiverse trade. Beyond that, we also have villains known as The Elementals that Peter will have to deal with. And that's just what we know.
