New Evil Dead Movie Lands Director Hand-Picked by Sam Raimi
A new movie about Evil Dead is in progress and Bruce Campbell is starting to tease us with some of the things to come. Although Campbell does not resume his role of Ash in the future, after withdrawing after the cancellation of Ash vs.. Evil Dead, he still works closely with Sam Raimi to produce the next entry. As for what it will be? The details are still difficult to obtain, but the project has found its director.
Bruce Campbell recently appeared at the Rock and Shock convention, which took place in Massachusetts. During the panel, he reaffirmed that he would no longer play Ash, but gave his blessing to someone else for him to take over, while assuring that there are still stories to tell in this universe. This is what Campbell had to say.
"It's good to pass it on to another idiot to try and prevent the evil from destroying the world … An idiot has tried, he's done very well. other innocent people without skills try to save the world. And there are still more stories to tell. "
Sam Raimi, who directed the original Evil Dead and his sequel, recently revealed that they were planning the next entry in the series. The last time the franchise was shown on the big screen was the remake made in 2013 by Fede Alvarez. It would appear that Alvarez is not sitting in the director's chair this time, however, since Bruce Campbell also said that Raimi had chosen the new director for this film.

"We think we have an interesting premise, we have a new filmmaker that Sam Raimi chose by hand. is very involved in this project, will be involved in this project, history, and we will try to make sure that the actors are not completely nil, and then we will create another, yes. has a lot of stories … scary books … a lot of people to torment. "
In our interview with Fede Alvarez last year, he had expressed the wish to come back for a suite. However, he admitted that his schedule would not allow him to direct him. It is quite possible that Alvarez can still come back as a producer and that this new director, no matter what he is, can direct the sequel to Evil Dead of 2013. He agrees to mention that this movie has been very successful, bringing $ 97.5 million to the global box office. And fans have expressed the desire to see Mia de Jane Levy return.
That said, it is also quite possible that Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and producer Rob Tappert are taking things in a new direction. Whatever it is, we have not seen the last of the Deadites and the Necronomicon. We'll keep you posted for more details on the mysterious new movie Evil Dead . You can download below the entire clip with Campbell, as shared on Craig Semon's Twitter account.
