Russell Crowe Teams with Scream Creator & Final Girls Writers for Meta Horror Movie
Russell Crowe heads to the world of horror for his latest project. The Oscar-winning actor was asked to direct the casting of Joshua John Miller and A. Fortin's first film. The currently untitled film is described as a supernatural thriller produced by Miramax. Not only does Crowe enter the scary realm with this one, but he will have some sort of meta-like approach.
According to a new report, Russell Crowe is about to play a troubled actor who is filming a horror film. During production, he begins to blunt, which leads him to cross with his daughter so distant, who fears to fall back into his past addictions. Or, it is possible that there is something more sinister at stake. Joshua John Miller and Mr. A. Fortin wrote the script. Bill Block of Miramax should produce for the studio.
Joshua John Miller and MA Fortin have already created the series The Queen of the South and wrote the film The Final Girls . . This is part of the contract between Miramax and producer Kevin Williamson, which was created to bring more studio projects to life. Recently, Crowe played in the showtime series The Loudest Voice in which he played at the head of Fox News, Roger Ailes. Miramax has reason to explore the genre of horror, having achieved a huge success with Halloween Halloween co-produced by Blumhouse Productions.
